Like most Starbucks, this one serves some good coffee. There's flavored drinks if you like those, too. ...yup.

The people who work here are AMAZING! I love them and the great service that they provide. They seriously do make you feel like you're friends. The place itself though could do with a revamp. It is quite open which is cool but in the winter months it makes it feel colder and not so cozy. If I just want a quick cup of tea then I would drop by here but if I want to sit and read, linger for a while then I would choose another coffee shop to go to.

I was in Saint Charles for a Tupperware convention, yes, Tupperware, whatever! So, I needed a coffee fix after 5 hrs of off brand coffee and Tupperware demos, and this Starbucks came up in the GPS. May I say, this entire town is so cute! The Starbucks was on the corner and was the perfect spot for people watching which is what my sister and I did after we got our nonfat grande lattes with cinnamon and raw sugar. The drinks were perfect. Lots of typical Starbucks pastries. We didn't have any since were watching (especially after all those cookies from Lutz from the previous day!) The staff was nice as can be and the bathroom was nice and clean. We will totally be back to check out the town and have another latte. Maybe even join Joanne someday for coffee (not for the workout since their boot camp is too early for this Lincoln Square chick!)

I've heard from more urban friends that as a chain, Starbucks can't be a "real" coffee shop. I like the indie places too (Cafe Greco and Cafe Puccini on Columbus in SF are especially fine.) But what is so "not real" about this place? The staff is wonderful--well, no, not even staff--more like friends. I've even been invited, along with other regulars, to the wedding reception for one of the baristas. They are without exception competent and energetic, even at six in the morning. The space is a little institutional-looking, but . . . As I'm writing this, I'm sitting in a comfy chair, watching a terrific, dark storm roll in from the west, surrounded by many regulars that I know well enough for a nod or a hello. On busier days, my reading might be interrupted by conversations with regulars I know by name--I love when that happens. All too often, national chains are cold, impersonal, and poorly run. Starbucks, especially this one, is a significant exception.

Well, hello there Venti Nonfat Pumpkin Spice Latte, Easy Milk, Hold the Whip. Om nom nom... It's baaaaaack. Conveniently located right below my office, I find my way down to da 'Bucks more than I care to admit. But the staff is always awesome--they remember my drink...this is important to me. The coffee isn't my favorite by far, but I love Pumpkin Spice anything...and I'm not terribly picky about where I'm getting it...The service on the other hand is the reason that I review. Stellar. Ever. Mutha. F*in. Time. Props to you guys. Keep up the good work.

Starbucks? Really, Joanne? You're reviewing Starbucks? It's pumpkin spice latte season muther truckers! Oh how I yearn for fall to get here so I can get a taste of this heavenly goodness. But this is not why I am reviewing SB. I'm reviewing this SB for a very specific reason...it's our meeting spot for Saturday morning Booty Camp. A group of gals meet early Saturday morning at this particular SB. For the most part it is always bustling and our motley crew just adds to it. Some of us are raring to go and some of us are still half asleep (like me). This Starbucks is conveniently located in downtown St. Charles and they have always been accommodating to our group...refilling our water bottles and such....and for that I am much appreciative. It's always clean as is the bathroom and the waitstaff is pretty pleasant...that might be due to the sweat soaked tee shirt I'm donning and the tears running down my cheeks from the throbbing pain in my thighs after boot camp...but that's a story for another time. This Starbucks is A-OK in my book and I know I'll be back soon....sweat soaked tee shirt and all.

The best Starbucks in the area! Everyone there is super friendly and the regular staff always remember my drink when I come in. I never have a problem with my drink not being full, like I do at another Starbucks in the area. There are couple of Starbucks in the area but I always go to this one because the service and drink quality is better than most.

Do you want overpriced beverages and pastries!? How about high school students sitting at a table and instead of talking to each other (like humans), each of the group of three on their phones! You've come to Starbucks, baby! This place is actually moving across the river. I probably will never go to this location again!

This Starbucks is super efficient, conveniently located, and my order is consistently perfect. Staff is polite but not overly friendly. I wish they had a drive through.

This Starbucks is in a great location and staffed by friendly folks. There is one kid in particular who works on Sundays and is super friendly and sweet and a little goofy. Strangely, they had to move the register area from the counter to a tiny area behind a giant pillar (I know, weird) because of some health or building code situation. The ordering area is very awkward, and so is the large unused counter.

When it comes to Starbucks, you know what you're getting. The menus at each franchise are just about identical, but there are distinct differences that make some branches more favorable than others. This review is meant to reflect what makes this Starbucks unique more so than the company as a whole. This location is pretty convenient for anyone passing through or spending time in downtown St. Charles. Staff is friendly and helpful, and that's just about all I need to know to stop in occasionally on my way through town. For frequent coffee drinkers, I also strongly recommend pursuing a Starbucks Gold Card if you do not already have one. By simply reloading and reusing a gift card, you can easily reach Gold status (and even under the new rules I think it's worth it). By doing so you get a free drink or food item after you've racked up 12 "gold stars" (items purchased).

Whenever I get a craving for a frappe, I go for it, man. It's like a coffee ice cream shake. I suck at describing but it's amazing.

Great location. Some street parking. Right next to the Arcada in case you need to kill some time before a Rocky Horror Picture Show or something.
